With OMEGA’s maritime legacy in mind, the brand launched its Planet Ocean collection in 2005. Today, these refined models continue to pay tribute to OMEGA’s distinguished diving-watch heritage.
This 45.50 mm stainless steel model features a ceramised titanium dial with a small-seconds counter and date window, along with 60-minute and 12-hour counters positioned at 3 o’clock. Orange ceramic is used on the pusher rings and on the unidirectional bezel, which features a diving scale filled with Liquidmetal™ and Super-LumiNova.
Additional features include a screw-in alveol-pattern caseback and an integrated stainless steel bracelet with OMEGA’s patented extendable fold-over clasp and diving extension.
The watch is water-resistant to 600 metres / 2,000 feet / 60 bar and includes a helium escape valve. At its heart is the OMEGA Master Chronometer Calibre 9900, visible through the transparent caseback. To achieve Master Chronometer certification, it has passed the eight rigorous tests established by METAS, the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology.
